Welcome CSDA Families,

We are so excited to celebrate our end of the year recital, Dancing Through Life! This is truly one of the most special moments of our season. A special evening where our youngest dancers take their first steps and our first graduating senior will take her final bow. Each routine reflects the hard work, growth, dedication, and passion our dancers have poured into this year. We are incredibly proud of them and can’t wait for you to see them shine on stage.

Individual costume, hair, and makeup details will be sent directly to each class.

What to Know

  • Dancers should arrive fully prepared in costume, with hair done and proper shoes
  • Please be stage-ready at your assigned time block
  • This is our full dress and tech rehearsal to help dancers feel confident and comfortable on stage
  • We will be on a tight schedule, so we are unable to hold or repeat dances for late arrivals
  • We encourage patience and support throughout. This is an important moment for our dancers to settle in, build confidence, and truly enjoy the experience.

Schedule

4:20–4:50 – Stage blocking & tech (Competition Teams, Jazz III–IV, Lyrical II–III, MTV, Tap II, Acro all levels, Classical Ballet II–V)
4:50–5:20 – Opening Number, Combo I–II, Ballet I, Tap/Jazz I, Hip Hop
5:20–5:30 – Snack/Dinner Break
5:30–7:30 – Full Run of the Show

Dancers in Combo I–II, Ballet I, Tap/Jazz I, and Hip Hop may be dismissed after their dress rehearsal time block has ended.
ALL Dancers are welcome to stay and watch.

7:30–7:45 – Clean up and gather costumes

7:45–7:55 – All dancers must exit the building

5:00-5:30 – Sheppard’s Showase- Come see our competition soloists and duets perform in our pre-recital showcase. An extraordinary showcase highlighting our talented dancers’ hard work and achievements throughout the season.

5:30 – CALL TIME FOR ALL DANCERS

6:00 – CURTAIN

Recital tickets will be distributed at dress rehearsal. 4 tickets per dancer or 6 tickets for families with siblings. If you would like additional tickets please email me ASAP, as tickets will be limited and no sales will be available at the recital. Tickets for the recital are $25.00 each. Priceless!
